Answer to Dimming Question

Hi Shelby, I am a lighting consultant in Denver, just thought I would answer your question. Yes, you can dim this system, you just have to purchase an Electronic Low Voltage dimmer (Lutron sells them, with ELV on the side of the box). According to WAC's spec sheet: "Dimming: With electronic low voltage (ELV) dimmer, LED lamp dims to 10%; Halogen lamp dims to 1%." Hope that helps! Meghan

I have installed WAC Track Lighting : Model JHT-856-WT system with a 120 to 12V transformer and a 50 W halogen bulb. My question is: Can I put this system on a dimmer without doing damage to the transformer; or do I have to install lower W bulbs?
Add to Wish List Successful. May we suggest certain component that are needed to complete the system.
Remember to order housing.
